What to wear
The following overview will help you find the suitable clothing for dance classes and fitness lessons. In case of doubt, or if you do not find your course type in this report, do not hesitate to contact us or consult the teacher.
Children courses 2-4 year olds
Girls
Clothing - leotard w/ a short chiffon skirt or short tutu (not necessary) or t-shirt (plain) w/ leggings, full sole ballet shoes or anti-slip socks, alternatively barefoot
Hair - must be neatly secured in a bun, twist or ponytail
Boys
Clothing - sweat pants or leggings or cotton shorts, t-shirt (plain), full sole ballet shoes or anti-slip socks, alternatively barefoot
Headbands, freely hanging earrings, bracelets, rings, loose chains and other jewellery are not allowed for safety reasons.
Children courses 4-6 year olds
Girls
Clothing - leotard w/ a short skirt or t-shirt (plain) w/ leggings, full sole ballet shoes or anti-slip socks, alternatively barefoot

Ballet for children
Girls
Clothing - leotard w/ a short skirt, w/ or w/o tights, ballet shoes

Clothing - leggings or dance shorts, t-shirt w/ short sleeves, ballet shoes
Headbands, freely hanging earrings, bracelets, rings, loose chains and other jewellery are not allowed for safety reasons.

Leotard w/ or w/o a short skirt, tights or leggings, ballet shoes
Gentlemen
T-shirt, dark leggings or shorts, ballet shoes
For beginners' classes and for fitness-form of ballet fitness sportswear is an option.
Street styles - adults & teenagers
Street, Jazz, Broadway dance Musical, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Reggaeton, MTV Dance, Street-Jazz, etc.
Sportswear: t-shirts, leggings or sweat pants, shorts
Shoes: indoor sports shoes with non-marking soles, used only in studio - not worn outdoors.
For Jazz dance, Broadway dance and Musical dance: split sole jazz-dance shoes are recommended or socks, alternatively barefoot - based on teacher's recommendation.

Jazz shoes
Ballroom dance
Ladies
T-shirt or blouse w/ knee-length skirt or light dress of similar length, women's shoes w/ higher heels (no stilettos due to possible damage of the dance floor)
Gentlemen
Shirt or t-shirt, full-length trousers, social shoes (softer w/ leather sole)
Shoes for ballroom dance
Salsa
Ladies
Leggings and a loose t-shirt are ideal. Tighter clothing where body is well visible is suitable. This is important for teaching proper body movement. In the spring-summer season shorts or light skirts are recommended.
Shoes holding heels in place are suitable, i.e. jazz shoes or ballet shoes. For beginners socks are good as well.
Contemporary Dance, Dance Acrobatics (kids, adults)
In general: loose clothes allowing any form of movement are recommended - free but non-slipping t-shirts w/ short or long sleeves, loose trousers/sweat pants.
Skirts are not suitable for this type of dance.
Dancing is usually barefoot or with anti-slip socks (children).
Hair must be neatly secured in a bun, twist or ponytail.

Fitness classes (Pilates, Total Barre, Port de Bras, Zumba, 80's & 90's Style)
In general
Clothing - common sportswear for fitness: leggings, shorts, leotard or t-shirt based on your own preferences.
Workout is mostly barefoot. For Zumba- and 80's Style classes indoor sports shoes with non-marking soles, used only in studio - not worn outdoors are recommended.
