Mini Broadway
8-12 year-olds
This course is designed for 8 to 12 year-olds children interested in musical dance.
The lessons include teaching of modern and jazz dance techniques - isolations, jazz feet technique, sense if musical phrasing, step variations, jumping, turns, expression of musical feeling, basics of acting for dancers for expression of small stories in choreographies and floor work as a part of modern dance as well.
The lessons have the usual structure - warming up, training of various dance elements, strengthening, practice of short choreography formations and continuously - thru the whole year - rehearsals of complete choreography for various public presentations, performances and dance shows.
The used music reach from classical jazz repertoire to popular stars like Beyoncé, Rihanna and others and includes also street and hip-hop music styles.
